Finnish Tax Administration (Vero) has released detailed instructions on the new reporting requirements for the construction industry on 10. July 2013. There it is clarified which reports about contracts and employees need to be submitted. The requirements will be in force from 1. July 2014.

There is also a constantly updated FAQ section with specific questions and answers.

On 11 November 2013 Vero has released another information bulletin on the topic of the new reporting requirements in the construction industry. In that bulletin they introduce a new section on the Vero website called “Details About Contracts and Construction Workers” dedicated to explaining the topic and its practical application. The Tax Administration’s Senior Adviser Sari Wulff also reveals a plan for holding 15-20 additional info sessions in all regions of Finland in spring of 2014 to inform the public about the new reporting rules. Further information on the exact dates of the info sessions is to be revealed later in 2013.
